LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Texas Lutheran’s Katelyn Howard and Randolph-Macon’s Reagan Hill captured the first Division III Wilson/NFCA Pitcher and Louisville Slugger/NFCA Player of the Week honors of the 2026 season on Tuesday.
Howard, a senior pitcher from Waller, Texas, went 2-0 with a 0.00 ERA, just nine hits allowed, three walks, and 13 strikeouts across 14 innings in the circle. She shut out LeTourneau twice in two days, winning 7-0 on Friday and 6-0 on Saturday, to lift the No. 5-ranked (10-1) Bulldogs to their fourth straight victory.
Hill, meanwhile, hit .500 over four games, with five runs, a double, two home runs, seven RBI and a stolen base for the 12th-ranked (4-2) Yellow Jackets. The senior first baseman from Hanover, Va., was also flawless in the field, notching 38 putouts and one assist in 39 chances.
