LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Saint Benedict’s Olivia Tautges and Randolph-Macon’s Gracie Ellis claimed the latest Division III Louisville Slugger/NFCA Player and Wilson/NFCA Pitcher of the Week honors of the 2024 season on Tuesday.
Sophomore center fielder Tautges went 12-for-20 (.600) with two doubles, three home runs and 12 RBI. She compiled 23 total bases, a 1.150 slugging percentage and .619 on-base average.
Ellis, meanwhile, went 2-0 and ran her shutout streak to four games. The junior right-hander fanned 20 over 13 innings for the week and walked just one. She continues to be undefeated (10-0) in the circle for the No. 8-ranked Yellow Jackets this season.
