Type: drill
Purpose: This drill is designed to practice those plays that are difficult to repeat/practice unless under controlled circumstances but that usually make the difference between winning and losing.
Explanation: As the name indicates, every player needs a ball and will go to their position on the field. If you are not two deep at each position, the one player will go in both rounds.
A round is one infield series followed by one outfield series. Balls are funneled back to fielders through the second player at the infield position / at the end of the outfield round / or through a coach.
We usually do four rounds per drill (each round being completed by two groups).
Below are suggestions for infield and outfield rounds that can be mixed and matched to meet your needs.
