Purpose: We use this to keep everyone involved and work on different situations in a short period of time. There is action all the time, so everyone needs to focus in on what they are responsible for each round. Everyday can be different routine, so no one gets bored and differ- ent situations can be used.

Explanation: Here are 6 examples:

#1

C - Past balls with pitchers covering home

3B - Fielding bunts (set throws and throwing on the run)

MID IF - Turning two

OF - Crow hops off of ground balls (to each other)

C - Picks at first and third

OF - Gap shots and throws to second

C - Throws to second (some with up-cuts back to the plate)

OF - Throws to third (some with relays to third), RF to first

#4

3B - Receiving ground balls

SS - Communication fly balls with LF

OF - Relay drills using second and first baseman

P & C - 20 yard sprints

OF - Throws to the plate

IF - 20 yard sprints

P - Fielding bunts and working with right side of infield covering first

3B - Double play

OF - 20 yard sprints
