The NFCA Ethics Committee develops and maintains an NFCA Diamond of Ethics. Educates the softball community about values and ethics in coaching the game. Reviews complaints made about NFCA members and recommends action, when appropriate, to the NFCA Board of Directors' Executive Committee.
HOW TO REPORT
To report a suspected ethics violation, please email ethics@nfca.org. While submissions are anonymous except to the Ethics Committee, and if necessary, the NFCA Board of Directors Executive Committee, please provide your name and phone should you need to be contacted for additional information as well as the details of the incident and any supporting material.
Upon receipt, all information will be provided to the NFCA Ethics Committee. It is the responsibility of the NFCA Ethics Committee to review complaints made about NFCA members and when appropriate, recommend action to the NFCA Board of Directors’ Executive Committee. For any case where action may be taken, the subject of the complaint will be notified and given a chance to respond.
Upon review of the information submitted, courses of action may include:
- a private letter of warning;
- a public notice of reprimand;
- suspension of NFCA member;
- revocation of NFCA membership
