The Florida Gators continue their reign atop the USAUSA Today/NFCA Division I Top 25 Poll, the NFCA announced on Tuesday. Florida is now 39-3 on the season and holds 27 of a possible 30 first-place votes for 747 points. Once again, the Gators are followed by No. 2 Stanford with one first-place vote and No. 3 Washington with a pair of first place tallies. Alabama and Arizona State switched positions from last week’s poll with the Crimson Tide moving up one spot to No. 4 while the Sun Devils drop a spot to fifth. 

The USA Today/NFCA Division I Top 25 Poll is voted on by NCAA Division I head coaches, one representing each conference. Records through April 5, 2009, are shown. First-place votes are in parentheses.
