USA Today/NFCA Top 25 PollUSA Today/NFCA Top 25 Poll 

Tennessee used a 5-0 record in conference play last week to maintain the top spot in the USA Today/NFCA Top 25 PollUSA Today/NFCA Top 25 Poll for the seventh consecutive week, the association announced Wednesday. 

UT claimed a pair of series sweeps to move to 33-2 on the year and keep it in the No. 1 position, one it has held since Feb. 14. 

Texas A&M jumped into the No. 2 spot this week, giving the Aggies its highest ranking in the poll. Ranked third a week ago, the Aggies moved into the No. 2 slot after Alabama slipped to third with a 31-3 mark. The Crimson Tide fell after dropping a pair of games to LSU, who moved up two places to sixth this week. 

Oklahoma and Arizona sit between the SEC foes. The Sooners moved to 36-3 on the season and re-claimed the No. 4 position, while Arizona used a sweep of New Mexico to move to 24-7 and up one place to fifth. 

Arizona State, who joins in-state foe Arizona as the only Pac-10 foes in the top 10, dropped a pair of places to No. 7. Big 10 squads Northwestern and Michigan each fell one place this week. The Wildcats slipped to No. 8, while the Wolverines landed at No. 10. 

Texas landed between the two conference opponents as the Longhorns went 2-1 on the week, including a split with Oklahoma, to move up one place to ninth. 

Pac-10 squads continued to sit in the Nos. 11-14 positions. UCLA and Washington stayed 11th and 12th, respectively, but Stanford and Oregon switched spots this week with the Ducks moving into the No. 13 spot. 

Louisiana-Lafayette maintained its hold on the No. 15 position, and Baylor moved into the No. 16 position, dropping Oregon State to 17th. 

Missouri Valley Conference foes Southern Illinois and Illinois State landed at Nos. 18 and 20, respectively, while Florida used an SEC sweep of Georgia, who slipped four notches to No. 22, to jump three places to No. 19. 

Hawaii stayed at No. 21, while DePaul advanced one place to 23rd. N.C. State dropped one place to No. 24, while North Carolina, winners of 25 straight games, moved back into the poll at No. 25.
