Michigan went 4-0 last week to improve its winning streak to 31 games and remain No. 1 in the USA Today/NFCA Top 25 poll, released by the association on Wednesday. 

The Wolverines captured the Courtyard by Marriott Classic with wins over Western Kentucky and Middle Tennessee, paired with a couple of wins over tournament-host Louisville. 

Arizona remained second after posting a pair of wins over then-No. 11 Louisiana-Lafayette, while California went 6-0 at the North Carolina tournament to remain No. 3 in this week's poll. 

Tennessee stepped out of SEC play to down Liberty and Virginia and remains fourth, while Texas improved to 26-4 to stay in the top five. Stanford, UCLA and Oklahoma follow the Longhorns. 

Texas A&M, off to its best start in school history, makes its first appearance in the top 10 at No. 9. The Aggies opened Big 12 play with a 7-1 win over Baylor, which dropped one spot to No. 10 in this week's tabbing. 

Alabama dropped one spot to 11th. The Crimson Tide are followed by Georgia, Louisiana-Lafayette, Florida and Missouri. Oregon State remained 16th, followed by Washington, Arizona State, Georgia Tech and Northwestern rounding out the top 25. 

The last five ranked teams are Fresno State, Nebraska, Auburn, Iowa and Creighton. 2004 Women's College World Series particpants LSU and Florida State dropped out of this week's poll, ending streaks of being ranked of 104 and 69 consecutive weeks, respectively.
