USA Today/NFCA Division I Top 25 Poll

UCLA and Arizona remain unbeaten and atop the USA Today/NFCA Top 25 poll. The Bruins won five games last week while Arizona swept its four contests to remain No. 1 and No. 2 in the latest poll, respectively. 

UCLA cruised to victories over Syracuse, Nevada and a pair of wins over in-state rival Cal Poly. The Bruins won a 1-0, 10-inning decision from upset-minded San Diego State to keep their record perfect. 

Arizona got a perfect game from sophomore Alicia Hollowell to defeat Indiana, and the Cats also knocked off North Texas, UTEP and 24th-ranked Georgia Tech. 

California moved up a spot to No. 3 after positing a 5-0 record last week, while LSU moved down a spot to No. 4 after sweeping Mississippi State and splitting a doubleheader at 13th-ranked Tennessee. 

Florida State and Oklahoma also swapped places in this week's poll. The Seminoles moved up to No. 5 while the Sooners dropped to No. 6. 

Georgia is now No. 7 after sweeping its five games last week. Washington was idle and dropped to No. 8 in the poll. Alabama remains ninth after opening its SEC season with a three-game sweep of Arkansas. 

Louisiana-Lafayette improved to 25-2, winning five games at last week's Seminole Challenge, including a 10 inning, 1-0 victory over host Florida State. 

Stanford and Michigan are tied for the No. 11 spot. They are followed by Tennessee, Oregon, Fresno State, South Carolina and Pacific. 

South Florida won six games and captured the Speedline Invitational title. The Bulls made the biggest jump in this week's poll, moving up four spots to No. 18. 

Nebraska and Arizona State round out the top 20, followed by Florida, Texas, Oregon State and Georgia Tech. 

Northwestern, now 12-4 on the season, makes its first appearance in the poll, debuting at No. 25. Iowa dropped out of this week's poll. The Hawkeyes went 3-3 last week, dropping games to Baylor, Chattanooga and Tennessee Tech.
