USA Today/NFCA Division I Top 25 Poll

LSU's 6-0 mark at the NFCA Leadoff Classic helped the Tigers jump nine spots to No. 3 in the latest USA Today/NFCA Top 25. LSU defeated three teams ranked in the top ten, including California, Washington and Georgia. 

UCLA remained No. 1 for the fifth consecutive week, picking up all but one first-place vote. The Bruins went 3-0 last week with a pair of wins over UC Santa Barbara and Long Beach State. 

The nation's only other unbeaten team, 21-0 Arizona, is ranked second after posting three wins over ranked teams last week. The Wildcats defeated Stanford twice and knocked off South Florida. 

California dropped to fourth after dropping games to LSU and Nebraska at the Leadoff Classic. Oklahoma remains fifth after posting a 3-2 record at the Leadoff Classic. 

Florida State reached the championship game of the Leadoff Classic, and dropped only their second game of the season. The Seminoles are 17-2 and are ranked No. 6 in the poll. Washington, Georgia, Alabama and Stanford round out the top ten. 

Michigan is No. 11, followed by Louisiana-Lafayette. The Cajuns won seven games last week to improve their record to 20-2. 

Tennessee remains 13th, while Oregon moved up three spots to No. 14. Fresno State and South Carolina share the No. 15 spot after both teams had successful runs at the Leadoff Classic. 

Nebraska is No. 17, while Pacific moved up three spots to 18th. Texas went 3-5 last week and dropped four spots to No. 19. 

Ariaona State is 20th. The Sun Devils are followed by Iowa and South Florida. Florida and Georgia Tech make their first appearances in the poll. The Gators went 5-0 last week while Georgia Tech won six games last week, including a 9-1 victory over Fresno State. Oregon State remains 25th to complete the poll.
