USA Today/NFCA Top 25 Poll 

Tennessee received all 30 first-place votes for the second consecutive week to spend its third week in the No. 1 position in the USA Today/NFCA Top 25 Poll, the association announced Wednesday. 

The Lady Vols went 5-0 on the week to move to 20-0 overall on the campaign. UT ranks just ahead of Arizona, who used a series sweep of Missouri to jump ahead of Arizona State into the No. 2 slot. 

The Sun Devils moved to 21-2 overall on the campaign, but dropped one slot due to a 4-1 week. Texas A&M stayed at No. 4, but Alabama moved into a tie with the Aggies for the position after a 5-0 week that included a pair of wins over No. 15 Louisiana-Lafayette. 

Oklahoma, who continues to improve on a school-best 23-0 mark, stays at No. 6, while Northwestern moved up one place to seventh. 

Texas jumped two places to eighth, while Michigan leaped four places into the top 10 at No. 9 following a 20-1 start to the season that includes last week’s sweep of Florida State. 

LSU dropped three places to No. 10 after dropping a pair of games to Washington, who vaulted four places to 11th. The Huskies come in ahead of Pac-10 foe UCLA, who stayed at No. 12 this week. 

Stanford dropped out of the top 10 to No. 13, while Oregon State slid three more places to No. 14. Baylor follows the Ragin’ Cajuns at No. 16, while Oregon continued its move up the rankings despite having a school-record win streak halted last weekend. 

Southern Illinois, Florida and Georgia Tech complete the top 20, while Georgia holds at No. 21, just ahead of Illinois State, who debuts in the poll with a 15-5 mark. 

California dropped five places to 23rd, while N.C. State used a series win over No. 25 Florida State to move into the rankings ahead of the Seminoles at No. 24.
