Michigan swept doubleheaders from Purdue and Indiana to improve to 44-3 on the season, as the Wolverines remained No. 1 in the latest USA Today/NFCA Top 25 Poll.
California moved up one spot to No. 2 while Texas jumped up to the No. 3 spot. Arizona dropped a pair of games to Pac-10 rival UCLA and fell two spots to No. 4 while Oklahoma remained fifth in this week's poll.
Texas A&M climbed to No. 6, its highest ranking in school history. Stanford and Alabama also climbed one spot to No. 7 and No. 8, respectively, while Tennessee dropped two of three for the second consecutive weekend and fell to ninth.
UCLA's sweep of Arizona moved the Bruins back into the top ten. The move came at Oregon State's expense, which despite a win over Cal, fell to No. 11 in this week's tabbing.
The Beavers are followed by Baylor, Georgia, Louisiana-Lafayette and Northwestern. The Wildcats continue to roll in the Big Ten, continuing its best league start in school history at 12-0.
Florida checks in at No. 16, followed by Missouri, Georgia Tech, Creighton and Fresno State.
The last five ranked teams are Auburn, Iowa, Washington, Arizona State and Oregon.
