NFCA Division II Top 25 Poll
Lock Haven secured seven first-place votes to remain atop the NFCA Division II Top 25 Poll
, the association announced Wednesday.
The Lady Eagles are off to an 18-1 start to the season, maintaining the No. 1 ranking they have held since the preseason rankings.
Columbus State stayed in the No. 2 slot for the second straight week after a 4-0 week that moved the team to 34-2 overall. Humboldt State and Angelo State kept last week’s top four in tact for a second consecutive week as the Lumberjacks and Rambelles remain third and fourth, respectively.
SIU-Edwardsville moved up two places to fifth, while Valdosta State went 6-0 last week to jump eight slots into a tie with the Cougars. Lenoir-Rhyne advanced one place to ninth, while Northeastern State moved into the top 10 at No. 10 after a nine-place leap.
Hawaii-Hilo advanced one place to No. 11, while Cal State Stanislaus dropped three notches to 12th. Alabama-Huntsville and Caldwell came in at Nos. 13 and 14, respectively.
Lewis leaped eight places to No. 15, while UCS Upstate made a six-spot jump to No. 16. Florida Southern, Bloomsburg, Gannon and Nebraska-Omaha round out the top 20.
St. Edward’s leaped three places to No. 21, while Francis Marion and Shippensburg both dropped to 23rd and 24th, respectively. LIU-C.W. Post entered the rankings at No. 22, while Barry jumped back into the poll at No. 25.
