NFCA Division II Top 25 PollNFCA Division II Top 25 Poll 

Defending national champion Lock Haven received seven first-place votes to remain atop the NFCA Division II Top 25 PollNFCA Division II Top 25 Poll for the eighth straight week, the association announced Wednesday. 

The Lady Eagles moved to 34-1 on the year after extending their win streak to 32 straight games. Behind LHU, the remainder of the top six remained unchanged from last week’s rankings. 

Columbus State continued its impressive run as it moved to 44-2 overall to stay at No. 2. Humboldt State claimed three of four games from Cal State Bakersfield over the weekend to remain in the third position, and Angelo State continued the clinch the fourth spot after claiming at least a share of the Lone Star Conference’s South Division. 

Valdosta State remained at No. 5, while Emporia State stayed at No. 6 again this week. Cal State Stanislaus moved up two places to seventh this week, jumping ahead of Lewis, who stayed at No. 8. 

The biggest jump in the poll came from LIU-C.W. Post, who jumped 12 places into the top 10 at No. 9. SIU-Edwardsville rounded out the top 10 as it leaped three spots from last week’s rankings. 

Following a week’s absence from the poll, Alabama-Huntsville made a major move back in the poll, coming in at No. 11. Florida Gulf Coast dropped five spots to 12th, while Lenoir-Rhyne advanced four places to No. 13. 

St. Edward’s advanced five places to No. 14, just ahead of a Minnesota State, Mankato squad that jumped three places to 15th. 

Caldwell fell four places to No. 16, while Kutztown moved into the poll at No. 17. USC Upstate fell eight places to No. 18, immediately ahead of Hawaii Pacific after it progressed three notches to 19th. Florida Southern remained in the top 20 at No. 20 despite slipping six places. 

Nebraska-Omaha, Bloomsburg and Hawaii-Hilo landed at Nos. 21-23, while Texas A&M-Kingsville re-emerged in the rankings at No. 24. Wayne State stayed at No. 25 after debuting in the spot last week but tied for the position this week with newcomer Adelphi.
