NFCA Division II Top 25 Poll
Lock Haven received seven first-place votes to remain atop the NFCA Division II Top 25 Poll
for the seventh straight week, the association announced Wednesday.
Columbus State once again received a first-place nod to remain No. 2, while the rest of the top six held firm with Humboldt State at No. 3 followed by Angelo State, Valdosta State and Emporia State.
Florida Gulf Coast moved up one place to seventh, switching places with Lewis, who dropped a pair of games to Missouri-Rolla last week.
Cal State Stanislaus fell one place to ninth, while USC Upstate held on to its previous position at No. 10.
Northeastern (Okla.) State maintained its No. 11 spot, and Caldwell, SIU-Edwardsville and Florida Southern followed suit by holding on to the Nos. 12-14 places for the second consecutive week.
Hawaii-Hilo dropped to 15th after tying for the No. 14 spot last week, while Bloomsburg took over the No. 16 position, switching places with Lenoir-Rhyne.
Minnesota State, Mankato made the poll’s largest jump this week, vaulting six places to 18th, just ahead of St. Edward’s who remained at No. 19.
LIU-C.W. Post, Hawaii Pacific, Barry and Francis Marion held Nos. 21-24, while Wayne State (Mich.) made its 2007 poll debut at No. 25.
