STARKVILLE, Miss. – For the ninth consecutive week, North Georgia (45-0) topped the latest edition of theNFCA Division II Top 25 pollNFCA Division II Top 25 poll and received all 16 first-place votes in the process. The Saints, who capped their undefeated season with the Peach Belt Championship two week ago, were idle last week and will remain that way until the start of the NCAA Regionals on May 14. 

For the second straight week Valdosta State (39-6) came in at the No. 2 spot, while Midwestern State (46-6) and Hawaii Pacific (41-6) swapped spots to come in at third and fourth, respectively. Metro State rounded out the top five by coming in at fifth for the second time in as many weeks. 

No. 16 Augusta State (38-15), No. 17 Saginaw Valley (23-10) and No. 24 Wayne State (NE) (30-12) all dropped out of the poll this week, while No. 24 Minnesota St. Mankato (27-9) rejoined the poll and No. 20 Quincy (37-10) and No. 25 Francis Marion (34-14) made their 2010 Top 25 debuts. 

The NFCA Division II Top 25 Poll is voted on by 16 NCAA Division II head coaches, two representing each of the eight NCAA regions. The next NFCA Division II Top 25 poll will be released Wednesday, May 5.
