North Georgia takes over the top spot for the final regular season NFCA Division II Top 25 Poll for the 2009 season. The Saints hold 10 first-place votes in their first week atop the poll. Lock Haven checks in at No. 2, followed by Valdosta State, Angelo State and last week’s top team, Alabama-Huntsville, to round out the top five. 

The NFCA Division II Top 25 Poll is voted on by 16 NCAA Division II head coaches, two representing each of the eight NCAA regions. Records shown are through games of May 3, 2009. First-place votes are in parentheses. The next poll will be released following the NCAA Division II Championship Game
