STARKVILLE, Miss. – For the fifth week in a row, North Georgia garnered all 16 first-place votes in the latestNFCA Division II Top 25 pollNFCA Division II Top 25 poll and has now earned the No. 1 ranking in each of the seven regular-season polls thus far in the season. 

Valdosta State held onto the No. 2 spot for the second straight week, while Hawaii Pacific assumed the third spot for the second time this season by jumping from sixth to third. Also making a big move this week was Metro State, who shot up six spots from No. 10 to No. 4. Midwestern State rounded out the top five this week by falling from third to fifth. 

Five teams left the poll this week, making way for two teams returning to the fray and three teams joining the Top 25 for the first time this season. 

After a one-week absence, both West Texas A&M and C.W. Post made their returns to the rankings at Nos. 18 and 21, respectively. Premiering in the poll this week were Lewis who came in at 20th and Arkansas-Monticello and Minnesota St. Mankato who tied at 24th. 

Falling out of the poll this week were No. 19 Central Washington, No. 20 Molloy, No. 21 West Florida, No. 24 Wingate, No. 25 Grand Canyon 

The NFCA Division II Top 25 is voted on by 16 NCAA Division II head coaches, two representing each of the eight NCAA regions. 

The next NFCA Division II Top 25 poll will be released on Wednesday, April 14.
