West Florida and Northern Kentucky each received four first-place votes, but the Argonauts held on to the top spot in the latest NFCA Division II Top 25 Poll.
West Florida, which improved to 37-1 received 195 points to undefeated Northern Kentucky 189. Humboldt State checked in at No. 3 after improving to 40-1 on the season.
Kennesaw State dropped one spot to fourth, followed by Shippensburg. Defending national champion Angelo State jumped four spots to No. 6. The Rambelles are followed by Emporia State, North Florida, Lynn and St. Mary's. The latter two teams share the No. 9 spot in this week's tabbing.
Alabama-Huntsville fell four spots to No. 11. the Chargers are followed by San Francisco State, Bloomsburg, Southern Illinois-Edwardsville and Missouri Western.
Central Oklahoma moved up two spots to 16th, while Saint Leo and Caldwell share the 17th position. Cal State Dominguez Hills and poll newcomer Carson Newman round out the top 20.
The last five ranked teams are Francis Marion, Le Moyne, Florida Southern, South Carolina-Upstate and Washburn.
