View the NFCA Division III Poll
Washington University in St. Louis jumped previous No. 1 Chapman to take the top spot in the latest NFCA Division III Top 25 poll, the association announced Wednesday.
The Bears have gone 10-0 since being ranked second in the Mar. 30 poll behind Chapman, who went 3-1 during the two-week span.
Muskingum has 12-0 since the last poll to hold firm at the No. 3 position. Like the Muskies, Salisbury stayed in the same spot, coming in fourth with a 27-3 mark.
Rutgers Camden jumped two spots to fifth behind a 10-game win streak, while St. Thomas held on to sixth place with an 18-5 season mark.
Wisconsin-Eau Claire moved up two spots to seventh, while Linfield leaped five positions to No. 8. Moravian, who sits at 20-3 on the year, moved from 18th to No. 9, while Babson leaped into the poll at No. 10 with an identical 20-3 mark.
Methodist climbed five spots to No. 11, and the University of Chicago moved from No. 20 to No. 12 with an 18-1 mark. Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute fell one place to No. 13, while Coe moved up a couple of spots to 14th.
Mount Union, who is off to a 20-5 start on the season, fell to 15th, while Buffalo State earned a No. 16 ranking with a 17-3 mark. Emory enters the poll for the first time this season, coming in 17th with a 27-5 start. Another newcomer, Endicott, enters the poll at No. 18.
Redlands, who previously came in at 21st, advances to 19th, while Alma returns to the poll at No. 20.
College of New Jersey comes in at No. 21, while Augustana (Ill.) fell out of the top five to No. 22. William Paterson, who dropped from 10th to No. 23, rounds out the top 25 along with newcomer Tufts and Roanoake.
