DePauw received six of eight first place votes to remain in the No. 1 spot in the NFCA Division III Top 25 poll, the association announced Wednesday. The Tigers' record stands at 33-1, remaining the only one-loss team in Division III. 

Only 18 points separated the top five places in the poll, including just a five-point difference between No. 1 DePauw and No. 2 University of Texas-Tyler. Linfield, who was ranked No. 1 in the first three polls of the season, was just three points behind UT-Tyler, and No. 4 St. Thomas followed after another four points. 

Only two regular season polls remain, including one before the NCAA Division III championship tournament field is selected on Sunday, May 4.
