For the first time in over a month, the same team remains at the top of the NFCA Division III Top 25 Poll for consecutive weeks, the association announced Wednesday. Linfield received all eight first place votes, and enters NCAA tournament play at the Marshall, Texas, first round as the No. 1 team in the nation. 

No. 2 St. Thomas made a huge jump from No. 13 and will battle No. 3 Central, along with No. 20 Washington-St. Louis, No. 12 Wartburg, and No. 25 Gustavus Adolphus, at the Indianola, Iowa first round. 

Linfield will have arguably the toughest road to the Division III national championship in Montclair, N.J., having to go through No. 4 Texas-Tyler, No. 8 East Texas Baptist, No. 9 Louisiana College, and No. 18 Redlands at the first round hosted by ETBU in Marshall. 

Ohio Northern, who shares the No. 4 spot with Texas-Tyler, will face No. 15 DePauw along with five others at the DePauw-hosted first round in Greencastle, Ind.. No. 6 Lynchburg travels to Salisbury, Md., for a first round site with No. 11 Salisbury and No. 24 Emory. 

No. 7 Tufts will battle for just the second trip in program history to the national championship tournament, traveling to Beverly, Mass., along with No. 23 Rhode Island College. Cortland State rounds out the top 10, and will face No. 19 Rochester in the Ithaca, N.Y., first round. 

Nos. 13 and 14 Wisconsin-Whitewater and Illinois Wesleyan will fight it out in the Bloomington, Ill., first round, along with No. 17 Coe. In the first round site in Mahwah, N.J., No. 16 William Paterson will have to get by No. 22 Moravian. 

NCAA first round play begins May 7 at the eight sites, while finals begin May 15 in Montclair, N.J.
