After entering the postseason unranked, first-time national champion Messiah tops the final NFCA Division III Top 25 Poll
, the association has announced. Messiah cruised through both its first round and the national championship undefeated, finishing at 43-4 on the season. The top eight mirror the national championship participants, with the top four mimicking the finish exactly. Runner-up Coe is No. 2, followed by third- and fourth-place finishers Gustavus Adolphus and Tufts, respectively. Salisbury, who finished in a tie for fifth, is at No. 5, while Ohio Northern, who finished tied for seventh, is in the No. 6 spot. The other fifth-place finisher, Texas-Tyler, is No. 7, and finals participant Cortland State rounds out the top eight.
