St. Thomas has held onto the top spot in the NFCA Division III Top 25 Poll
for the fourth straight release after starting the year 25-1.
The Tommies received seven out of eight first place votes to remain solidly in the top position. With one early season loss to a top-ranked NAIA team, the Tommies appear to be rolling as they head into the final month of the season.
Rowan, who before the last release hadn't appeared in the poll since the end of the 2004 season, holds onto the No. 2 spot with a 27-1 record.
Ithaca and Louisiana College flip-flopped, as the Wildcats dropped to the fourth position and Ithaca moves up to No. 3.
Chapman, Muskingum and Wartburg all remain in order, with the first two sharing the No. 5 spot and Wartburg holding steady at No. 7.
Rutgers-Camden and Wisconsin-Eau Claire share the eighth spot, as Methodist drops two to No. 10.
Marietta dropped a position to No. 11, while Salisbury made the opposite move to No. 12. Previously unranked Tufts makes its first appearance at No. 13, and the Redlands jumped 10 spots to move into the No. 14 spot.
Washington-St. Louis jumped four spots to No. 15, while Aurora makes its first appearance in the poll, sharing the No. 16 position with St. Scholastica.
William Paterson sits at No. 18, while previously unranked Plattsburgh St. and Central (Iowa) share the 19th spot.
Roanoke and Moravian both make their first appearance in the poll, sharing the No. 21 spot. Linfield and Keene St. are in the same position at 23 after dropping eight and three spots, respectively.
Union rounds out the top 25 after dropping eleven positions into the final spot in the poll.
