Texas-Tyler received seven of eight first place votes to take over the No. 1 spot in the NFCA Division III Top 25 Poll, the association has announced. For the first time in nearly two months, a team other than Louisiana Colleges sits atop the rankings, and it should be no surprise that it is fellow American Southwest Conference team in UT Tyler . 

Louisiana College drops to No. 2 after being swept by Texas-Tyler; on the season, the Patriots have beaten LC three out of five times. No. 3 Salisbury made a six-spot jump, while No. 4 Ohio Northern received the other first place vote. No. 5 Luther drops a spot from a week ago.
