For the fourth straight week, defending national runner-up Wisconsin-Whitewater remains at the top of theNFCA Division III Top 25 Poll
, the association announced Wednesday. UW-Whitewater is set to begin play this Friday in Clermont, Florida.
Louisiana College, Texas-Tyler and St. Thomas all jumped former No. 2 Wisconsin-Eau Claire, who now sits in the five spot after a 3-1 start. Luther jumps to No. 6 after a 4-0 start, while Emory drops one spot to No. 7. Willamette jumped two spots to No. 8, while Cortland State fell one spot to No. 9 despite a 9-1 start. Christopher Newport and Washington-St. Louis round out the top 10, sharing that spot at 14-2 and 9-3, respectively.
Tufts remains at No. 12, while East Texas Baptist returns to the poll after a one-week absence at No. 13. Ohio Northern, who remains perfect at 12-0, drops three spots to No. 14, while John Carroll, at 9-1, sits in the No. 15 spot.
DePauw drops nine spots to No. 16, while Mississippi College makes a jump to No. 17 from seven spots down a week ago. Wartburg, Rochester and Ramapo round out the top 20, respectively. A pair of undefeated teams follows at Nos. 21 and 22 in Illinois Wesleyan and Linfield, respectively. Ithaca, at 7-3, takes the No. 23 spot, with Claremont-Mudd-Scripps and Rhode Island College following.
