LOUISVILLE, Ky. – Twenty six student-athletes were recognized as the NFCA announced its 2025 Cal JC All-America teams on Wednesday afternoon. 

The North Region’s West Valley College and the South Region’s Palomar College paced all schools with four recipients. It marked the third consecutive year a quartet of Comets earned All-America status. San Jose City College (North) and El Camino College (South) followed with three honorees apiece. Boasting two plaudits were College of San Mateo (North) and Mt. San Antonio College (South).

2025 Cal JC All-Americans

West Valley, the North’s No. 1 seed, placed two infielders, an outfield and a DP or Utility/Non-Pitcher on the North Region All-America team. Third baseman Rylee Gomez (.477, 5 HR, 35 RBI, 21 R, .531 OBP, .818 SLG), shortstop Andrea DeJesus (.434, 13 2B, 4 3B, 4 HR, 52 RBI, 45 R, 19 SB), outfielder Tyla Arbuckle (.483, 71 H, 59 R, 46 SB, .525 OBP) and utility player Brianna Chambers-Lee (.448, 12 2B, 5 HR, 32 R, 34 RBI, .510 OBP) represented the Vikings who cruised past Taft in a best-of-three, first-round 3CFA Northern California Regionals series.

Palomar also had two infielders, an outfielder and a DP or Utility/Non-Pitcher on the South team. Third baseman and 3C2A South Player of the Year Breanna Lutz (.571, 71 H, 59 R, 17 2B, 9 HR, 55 RBI, .629 OBP, 1.000 SLG), second baseman Josephine Heuberger (.421, 53 H, 45 R, 32 RBI), outfielder Taylor Armstrong (.462, 32 R, 38 RBI, .500 OBP) and designated player Lauren Doepping (.520, 26 R, 40 RBI, 10 2B, 7 HR, .579 OBP, .843 SLG) helped lead the Comets to a sweep Cerritos College in a best-of-three, first-round 3CFA Southern California Regionals series.

San Jose City, who earned the North’s No. 5 seed in the 3C2A playoffs, finished its season at 32-7. Leading the Jaguars were catcher DJ Martinez (.300, 7 2B, 26 RBI), first baseman Maai Ulu (.315, 6 2B, 23 RBI, ) and the Joan Joyce Utility Pitcher Evangelina Chavarria (19-7, 1.75 ERA, 80 K, 1.16 WHIP, .223 opp. BA / .464, 37 RBI, 14 2B, 6 HR), who captured the North’s 3C2A Player of the Year accolade. 

The South’s No. 5 seed El Camino also had a trio of All-Americans. 3C2A South Pitcher of the Year Lexi Ramirez (26-7, 1.11 ERA, 185 K, 0.92 WHIP, .168 opp. BA, 195 IP), first baseman Savanna Kastigar (.488, 35 RBI, 46 R, 25 SB .553 OBP) and shortstop Cheyenne Navarro (.453, 6 2B, 6 3B, 5 HR, 26 RBI, 32 R, .556 OBP, 11 SB) keyed the Warriors to a first round sweep of San Diego Mesa, which was highlighted by a pair of shutouts from Ramirez.

San Mateo, the No. 2 North team, advanced to the next round with a pair of shutouts tossed by All-American Nohemi Livingston (23-3, 1.00 ERA, 116 K, 0.85 WHIP, 8 SHO) and was joined on the squad by Bulldog outfielder Jessica Gutierrez (.418, 25 RBI, 35 R, 27 SB, .476 OBP). 

Mt. SAC’s All-America duo of catcher Morgan Kneubuhler (.394, 7 2B, 7 HR, 33 RBI, .442 OBP, .993 FLD) and Joan Joyce Utility Pitcher Kayden Connaty (8-6, 1.92 ERA, 80 K, .429, 11 RBI) led the Mounties to a 26-15 season.

Rounding out the North All-Americans are Yuba College pitcher Danni Farris (23-1, 1.03 ERA, 3 SV, 202 K, 30 BB, 0.79 WHIP, 156.2 IP, .203 opp. BA, 5 SHO), Hartnell College pitcher Charlee Hoover (14-6, 1.49 ERA, 143 K, 35 BB, .0.89 WHIP, 150 IP), Modesto Junior College second baseman Katelyn Bridgeman (.414, 53 H, 13 2B, 43 RBI, 1 K, 18 SB) and Fresno City College outfielder Lexi Rossotti (.427, 50 H, 35 R, 39 SB). 

The South’s final four All-Americans are Long Beach City pitcher Hailey Harris (25-3, 1.12 ERA, 181 IP, 10 SHO, .179 opp. BA), Cerritos College pitcher Tatyana Cortez (22-10, 2.67 ERA, 190 K, 38 BB, 0.86 WHIP, 218 IP, 5 SHO), and a pair of outfielders – Nanea Kyle  (.408, 50 R, 7 2B, .490 OBP, 42 SB) of Cypress College and Trinity Barnes (.419, .547 OBP, 7 3B, 43 R, 28 BB, .547 OBP, 32 SB) of Mt. San Jacinto College.

NFCA Cal JC All-America athletes must be nominated by their NFCA-member head coaches and are voted for by the coaches in their region to receive this prestigious accolade.
