LOUISVILLE, Ky. – The 2021 NFCA National Convention keynote speaker is one of our own, the Coach’s Coach Sue Enquist, and what better day to feature the NFCA Hall of Famer than on National Coaches Day. She will be headlining the First Pitch Opening Welcome on Dec. 8 in Las Vegas.
"I’m honored to be the NFCA Convention keynote speaker and looking forward to sharing inspiration and insight to our fellow coaches,” said Enquist. “There is no professional group as caring and cohesive as our softball coaches.”
In Enquist’s keynote “Celebrating the Stubborn Optimist,” she will weave this year’s Convention “re” themes into a celebration of why the coaching/sports industry is special. She will recharge the attendees, touching on topics such as the softball renaissance, relevancy and the power of peace of mind and celebrating your hidden assets.

Spending 35-plus years at UCLA as a player, coach, administrator, Enquist was the Bruins’ first All-American, national champion and Hall of Famer. She steered the Bruins to six national titles, three as co-head coach and three as head coach, going back-to-back twice in her career. Enquist holds the NCAA-best career win percentage for NCAA Division I head coaches (.835), numerous Coach of the Year nods and sits in six Hall of Fames.
Assisting the USA Olympic Volleyball Team this summer in Tokyo, Enquist, owner of ONESoftball.com and Bruwin Enterprises, was tasked with team culture. The U.S. went on to win its first-ever gold medal in the 60-year history of women’s indoor volleyball.
