LOUISVILLE, Ky. – There are many opportunities to reconnect with friends, colleagues and opponents at the 2021 NFCA Convention. With mentoring workshops, socials, celebrations and more, there is a little bit for everyone Dec. 8-11 in Las Vegas.
When it comes to mentoring the Convention has two sessions in the Pre-Convention Seminar Learn from the Legends: The Magic of Mentoring and the Mentoring Workshop.
Moderated by Jacquie Joseph, the quartet of Judi Garman, Carol Hutchins, Ralph Weekly and Margie Wright share their personal stories and advice from their own coaching careers as they answer your questions and address everything from planning practice to team culture. For a small additional fee, join these five NFCA Hall of Famers on Wednesday Dec. 8 at 1 pm.
One of the most highly-anticipated sessions of the NFCA Convention, the Mentoring Workshop, is being held from 7-9 pm on Thursday, Dec. 9. Grab a seat next to some of the best and the brightest in the game. This event pairs coaches at all levels for conversation, professional growth and networking. Additionally, it is a time to celebrate the scholarship recipients, who have shown their commitment to growing the game.
Network and socialize at amongst your peers with free food and drinks at the NFCA Opening Reception presented by Blast Motion on Dec. 8 from 7-9 pm. At 8 pm, join Blast and a panel of experts in an education session titled “Everyday Heroes - Coaches Changing the Game & Getting Results.” Learn how these coaches identified specific player swing issues, addressed them and achieved results.
On Thursday, you can continue the conversation after the Mentoring Workshop at one of three Fireside Chats. This year’s Extra-Inning informal discussions are a place where attendees can share their ideas and best practices on the topics of pitching, hitting technology and efficiency, time management and work/life balance.
Wrap up Thursday with the Diamond/PGF Social. You will not want to miss this venue - and with Diamond and PGF running the show - you're guaranteed to have a good time. Stop by the Forum Plaza for an evening of fun and socializing! Free food, beer and wine will be on hand from 9pm-midnight.
Please remember your credential and lanyard are required throughout the Convention, even for the social events. Registration is open Tuesday through Saturday in Forum Pre Function 2. Hours are: Dec. 7 - noon-4 pm; Dec. 8 - 7 am-9 pm; Dec. 9 - 7 am-8 pm; Dec. 10 - 7 am-1 pm; Dec. 11 - 8 am-noon.
