LOUISVILLE, Ky. – Whether you are looking for hitting, pitching or defense, the 2021 NFCA National Convention has you covered.

More About Folden

Rachel Folden, a four-time NFCA All-American, is a minor league hitting coach and lead lab tech in the Chicago Cubs organization. As the founder of Folden Fastpitch, she offers extremely progressive baseball and softball instruction based on biomechanics, science, technology and data. Additionally, she partners with Elite Baseball to provide hitting consultation for college, high school and youth baseball and softball teams.

Folden enjoyed five season as a professional softball player in the National ProFastpitch (NPF), suiting up for the Carolina Diamonds and the Chicago Bandits. The 2008 NPF Rookie of the Year and four-time All-NPF catcher finished her career with 41 home runs, 122 RBI, 101 walks and 28 doubles, all-time top marks. Prior to her pro career, Folden was a four-year standout at Marshall University and currently holds six career program records and is Conference USA’s all-time leader in career batting average and slugging percentage.

More About Sorensen

A three-time NFCA All-American, Sorensen enjoyed a successful playing career with Stanford University, National ProFastpitch and the US National Team. Following a five-year coaching career at UC Davis and Oregon State, Sorensen opened her own pitching instruction business D12 Softball (now Sorensen Elite Pitching). Additionally, she earned CSCS, Functional Movement Certification and Kettlebell certification and has implemented strength training into her pitching instruction, while also working as an instructor with non-athletes at FS Athletics.

A Stanford Athletics Hall of Famer, Sorensen led the Cardinal to two Women’s College World Series appearances. She posted a 105-36 mark with a program-low 1.05 ERA,  1,154 strikeouts (second in school history) and 32 shutouts (third).
