LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Unbeaten Calvary Baptist Academy continued to top a mostly unchanged NFCA Spring High School Top 25 Coaches Poll, the Association announced on Thursday.

The five-time reigning Louisiana state champion (30-0) Cavaliers won four more games this past week, including notching their 30th victory of the season, to stay rock solid as the nation’s No. 1 team. Calvary also extended its win streak to 36 straight games, including the Cavaliers’ four victories in the Division III Select tournament to close out 2025.

The three teams below them — No. 2 Orange Beach (20-0), No. 3 Thompson (25-0-1) and fourth-ranked Murrieta Mesa (16-0) — also haven't lost. Ten teams in the rankings overall have zero defeats so far this season.

Only two teams in the Top 25 lost this week. No. 6 Owyhee (12-1) fell 8-7 at Rocky Mountain last Thursday, but beat both Skyview and Mountain View to extend its home win streak to 50 games.

JSerra (15-4) was the only team to drop in the rankings, going from 15th to No.  22 after losing twice.

State rankings submitted by the NFCA High School Steering Committee are used to compile the NFCA Spring High School Top 25 Coaches Poll. Teams are chosen based on performance, roster quality and strength of schedule.
