LOUISVILLE, Ky. – Dutchtown High School’s (Ga.) Ja’Myiah Walker was named 2024 MaxPreps/NFCA National High School Fall Player of the Week. She is being recognized for her outstanding play for the week of Sept. 9-15.
Walker was a perfect 10-for-10 at the plate and reached base safely in all 12 plate appearances over four games last week. Eight of her 10 hits went for extra bases, including three home runs and four triples, for a 2.800 slugging percentage. Walker added eight RBI, 11 runs scored and seven stolen bases. The senior collected a season-best five hits with three triples and four runs versus Eagle’s Landing. She also homered twice and drove in four runs against McIntosh.

The MaxPreps/NFCA High School Player of the Week is announced on NFCA.org every Monday during the fall season.
