LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Unbeaten Buford kept rolling for another week atop the NFCA Summer/Fall High School Top 25 Coaches Poll.

The (20-0) Wolves won three more games and outscored their opponents 38-4 over that span, beating Mountain View once and Dacula twice. Buford has Mill Creek looming next later today.

The next three teams — Lincoln Southwest (20-2), Van Meter (34-2) and Wesleyan (18-2) — moved up one place apiece, ahead of newcomer Choctaw (23-2) in fifth and East Coweta (16-3), which stayed put at No. 6.

Dale (16-2), which ranked second last week, slipped to seventh after being shut out by Tuttle on Tuesday. Broomfield (13-2) remained eighth, while Millard North (23-4) and Lakewood (12-4) round out the revised top 10.

Elsewhere, Rock Bridge (15-5), which has logged ranked wins over Helias Catholic, Blue Springs South and Gretna this season, gained 10 places this week, going from 23rd to 13th. Another Missouri school, Ft. Zumwalt West (18-4), joined the rankings at No. 24 after recording a seventh straight triumph.

State rankings submitted by the NFCA High School Steering Committee are used to compile the NFCA Summer/Fall High School Top 25 Coaches Poll. Teams are chosen based on performance, roster quality and strength of schedule. Five states — Colorado, Georgia, Nebraska, Oklahoma and Missouri — play a fall fastpitch schedule, while Iowa recently completed its summer season.
