LOUISVILLE, Ky. – West Texas A&M ran its win streak to 24 games as it secured the unanimous No. 1 spot in this week’s NFCA/GoRout Division II Top 25 Coaches Poll. The Lady Buffs (44-2) notched four more Lone Star Conference victories, three by virtue of run rule.
Francis Marion rose to No. 2 following three weeks at No. 4. The Patriots (41-3) pushed their win streak to 20 games with three Conference Carolinas doubleheader sweeps and joined top-ranked WT as the just the second Division I program to reach the 40-win plateau.
