LOUISVILLE, Ky. – Rawlings Sporting Goods Company, Inc. revealed the nine recipients of the 2025 NCAA Division II Rawlings Gold Glove Award, presented by the NFCA, on Thursday.
Nine different programs were represented this year, highlighted by unanimous first-team NFCA All-America third baseman Mia Johnson from University of Wisconsin-Parkside. The senior from South Milwaukee, Wis. native was nearly flawless at the hot corner, posting a .982 field percentage with just three errors in 169 chances. It marked the first Gold Glove recognition for Parkside and the Great Lake Intercollegiate Athletic Conference.
Other recipients representing their school for the first time are St. Mary’s University pitcher Ariella Saenz, Texas Woman’s University catcher Trinity Perry, Shippensburg University shortstop Rylee Anglen and University of West Alabama left fielder Trinity Hatcher. Anglen is also the honoree from the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference.
University of Central Oklahoma second baseman Rylee Anglen puts the Bronchos Gold Glove total at three. Her teammate Rylee Lemos won the award in 2023 and 2025.
Arriana Wright, a first baseman from Colorado Christian University, Columbus State University center fielder Anna Waites and Augustana University right fielder Andrea Cain round out this year’s Gold Glove winners. It is the second consecutive honor for Colorado Christian and Columbus State and the second for Augustana, its first coming in 2024.
Recipients of the Rawlings Gold Glove Award, presented by the NFCA, were selected by the NFCA’s NCAA Division II All-America Committee, following regional voting to identify the finalists at each position. The group utilized fielding statistics and school-submitted video to closely examine finalists and select the winners at every defensive position. Any student-athlete that competed in the current championship year and was nominated by their head coach who is a member in good standing with the NFCA was eligible for consideration for this prestigious accolade.
