- Only one ballot per institution may be cast.
- If you did not have a competitive season this spring, you are still eligible to vote in the Rawlings Gold Glove
- The expectation is that ALL voters take the time to be informed about the nominees before casting their ballot. If you were unable to watch play firsthand enough or at all, and thus do not feel comfortable voting, please note that in your response.
4. Procedures
- You must vote in order for your institution's nominees to remain eligible.
- Coaches cannot vote for their own players on the regional ballot.
- The voting ballot must be completely filled out. If all blanks are not filled in, then the ballot will not be counted. However, if less than three players are on the ballot for a particular position, it's permissible to vote for less.
- The voting ballot will only be counted if submitted by the deadline.
- The top vote-getter(s) from each region will then be considered for Rawlings Gold Glove recognition, as detailed below.
- The top (2) athletes per position, as determined by the regional vote from each region will be forwarded to the All-American Committee for consideration UNLESS one of the following two voting results occur:
- One athlete receives greater than 60% of the regional vote in her nominated position. In this instance, only that athlete will be forwarded to the All-American committee and will represent that region at that position.
- There are more than two athletes for a nominated position who each receives 30% or greater of the regional vote. In this instance, all athletes earning 30% or more of the vote will be forwarded to the All-American committee and will represent the region at that position.
