LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Lone Grove shut out its two opponents by a combined 16-0 margin to continue atop the GameChanger/NFCA Summer-Fall High School Top 25 Coaches Poll for a fourth straight week, the Association announced on Thursday afternoon.
The (37-0) Longhorns defeated Kingston, 3-0 on Monday, and Mount St. Mary, 13-0 on Wednesday, to lead three unbeaten Oklahoma teams in the top five and a quintet of perfect squads overall in this week’s rankings.
Fellow Sooner schools Blanchard (32-0) and Broken Arrow (34-0) at second and fourth bookend Colorado’s Windsor (21-0) at No. 3.
Unbeaten Missouri team Grain Valley (25-0) moved up to fifth, after another Oklahoma squad, Enid (37-1), lost its first game and dropped one place to sixth.
The biggest movers were No. 7 Harrison (26-1) and No. 11 Chillicothe (26-2), which each saw a four-position swing — in opposite directions — actually swapping the spots they held last week.
The two new teams are actually old names. Lassiter (21-4) makes its 2026 poll debut at No. 23, while Eaton (16-6) is back in the rankings mix for the first time since week one, tied with Grand Island Northwest (19-3) for the final spot.
State rankings submitted by the NFCA High School Steering Committee are used to compile the GameChanger/NFCA Summer-Fall High School Top 25 Coaches Poll. Teams are chosen based on performance, roster quality and strength of schedule. Five states — Colorado, Georgia, Nebraska, Oklahoma and Missouri — play a fall fastpitch schedule, while Iowa recently completed its summer season.
