LOUISVILLE, Ky. – Fifty-four student-athletes from 30 different institutions have been voted to one of three 2026 NFCA Division I All-America teams, the Association announced on Wednesday afternoon during its annual press conference at the Women’s College World Series (WCWS).

WCWS-bound Texas Tech, along with Oklahoma and Florida State led the way with four NFCA All-Americans, two on the first team for the Sooners and one apiece for the Red Raiders and Seminoles. Three other WCWS participants – Alabama, Texas and UCLA  – each had three All-Americans, while first-timer Arkansas, Tennessee and Nebraska had two apiece. Both Razorback and Lady Vol recipients were first teamers with the Huskers having one.

Joining the above trio with two All-Americans are Duke, Florida, Georgia, North Carolina, Oregon and Virginia Tech. Fifteen other programs had one student-athlete recognized.

With its three selections, UCLA brings its Division I-best All-America total to 119. Arizona is second at 115, followed by Oklahoma with 94.

With her second straight unanimous Joan Joyce Utility/Pitcher first-team selection, Nebraska’s Jordy Frahm joins an elite club as the 14th four-time first-team NFCA All-American and 47th student-athlete to earn All-America honors four times. She earned first-team pitching honors in 2022 and 2023 (at-large) as a member of the Oklahoma Sooners.

Tennessee’s Karlyn Pickens earned her third consecutive first-team plaudit (At-Large Pitcher) and is joined by the UCLA tandem of Jordan Woolery (First Base) and Megan Grant (Outfield), Oklahoma outfielder Ella Parker, Texas Tech pitcher NiJaree Canady, Oklahoma State hurler Ruby Meylan and Texas catcher Reese Atwood as three-time All-Americans.

Joining Frahm as unanimous first-team recipients were Woolery, Grant and Duke’s Aminah Vega (Second Base). The above foursome repeated as first teamers as did Belmont pitcher Maya Johnson, Arkansas third baseman Ella McDowell, Florida State shortstop Isa Torres and Parker.

In addition to the previously-mentioned repeat first-team All-Americans, Arizona’s Sydney Stewart (At-Large Catcher) and Texas A&M’s Mya Perez (DP or Utility/Non-Pitcher) collected their second straight award with their first-team accolades in 2026.

Six second teamers – Arizona State pitcher Kenzie Brown, Texas Tech second baseman Mia Williams, Duke shortstop Jessica Oakland, Florida outfielder Taylor Shumaker, Stanford DP or Utility/Non-Pitcher Taryn Kern and Texas pitcher Teagan Kavan – and three more third teamers – Florida State third baseman Jaysoni Beachum, Oklahoma shortstop Gabbie Garcia and Florida pitcher Keagan Rothrock - earned their second All-America distinctions, while 30 more took home All-America honors for the first time.

Adding to her trophy case, Oklahoma’s Kendall Wells is the 2026 Diamond Sports/NFCA Division I Catcher of the Year as the first-team catching selection. Named the 2026 NFCA DI Freshman of the Year on Tuesday, Wells shattered Oklahoma's and the NCAA Division I freshman single-season home run record. She leads the SEC with 39 home runs, 81 RBI, and a 1.030 slugging percentage - stats that all rank in the top-five nationally, including second in home runs and tied for third in RBI - and earned her a spot as an USA Softball Collegiate Player of the Year Top 10 finalist.

Capturing the 2026 New Balance/NFCA Golden Shoe Award is Louisville’s Chelsea Mack. It is the second Golden Shoe plaudit for Mack, who won it her senior year as a member of the Brecksville-Broadview Heights High School (Ohio) team. The senior outfielder ranks second in Division I with 45 stolen bases and fourth in stolen bases per game (0.78). Mack finished the season with a .439 batting average, 87 hits and a .500 on-base percentage. She reached base in 55 games and recorded a hit in 49 of 58 contests. Her base hits currently rank ninth in Division I.

Seven of the eight programs participating in the WCWS have at least one All-American and a total of 19 honorees will step on the field at OGE Energy Field at Devon Park.

The NFCA All-America teams are voted on by the Association’s All-America Committees. In Division I, the committee is composed of one elected member head coach from each of the NFCA’s 10 regions. All student-athletes who were nominated by their member head coach and voted to the first, second or third-team All-Region teams were eligible for All-America consideration. View procedures HERE.
